France!  It may be relevant or it may not, but France were one of the few teams who took to the podium actually looking like a unit. Eager to pose together & relaxed.

My U23 photographs are not the best (the officials pushed the not-very-large crowd back which meant too many obstacles of heads/cameras to overcome fully) but I like these ones.

I am very, very happy Cav won. I think the course was well suited for a sprinter to win, and he&#8217;s one of the top sprinters right now, so his win was appropriate!
