should bikes be allowed on the dc metro?

bikecrushdc:

a petition seems to be making its way around the dc-intertron to repeal the ban on bikes on the dc metro during rush hour.

this unnamed biker writing for dcist says NO.

I agree.

What do ya’ll think?

I’ve taken my bike on the metro during non rush hours when it was packed and it SUCKS. I wouldn’t want to take my bike on during rush hour and I wouldn’t want other to either. So until they have cars better designed to take bikes, then I say, keep the rules as they are (which will probably never, ever happen).
